For my father, with all my love...

I didn't get to see you before you left,
Didn't get to say my good byes,
didn't get to hug you and kiss you good night,
didn't get to tell you how much I was proud to have you as a father,
didn't get the chance to tell you I was sorry for being stupid sometimes,
didn't get to dance with you at my wedding,
and you wont get a chance to see your grandchildren,
and I wont get the chance to say I love you one more time.

I wish I could have those chances,
but I am glad to have had the chance of having a father like you.

Thank you Dad!


He passed from this world tonight in the University of Louisville hospital. I will always have him in my heart. I know I've said some dumb things, but, now I truly know what I once had, and he's gone.
